EMC Message: Automatic Machine Malfunction Alerts

Fast-Response Alerts via Email or SMS for Unmanned Operations

Unplanned downtimes during unmanned or low-staffed operations consume valuable production time when left unnoticed. The EMC Message module monitors your machine fleet around the clock and triggers instant alarms in the event of unplanned stops or limit violations. The system automatically alerts designated operators or on-call maintenance teams via email or SMS – directly from the MES Software EMC and without requiring any additional hardware installations on the machines.

This allows you to react immediately to stamping head jams or material misfeeds in metal forming, as well as wire breaks or spool stoppages in wire processing. Reduce costly non-productive times and safeguard output during lights-out shifts.

Free configuration of standstill information and message destinations

Operators can easily activate or deactivate e-mail or SMS monitoring. At the start of unmanned production of a machine or before the weekend, the operator sets the machine to the active state. The machine is monitored until it is deactivated again.

If the machine is activated in the message service, the reason for the interruption and the time information are sent to the operator. The operator not only has the information “Machine stopped”, but also knows the reason for the standstill.

The SMS has the following format:
