EMC Converter: Reliable Data Exchange Between ERP and Shop Floor
Bidirectional Interface for Seamless Data Flow Between IT and Manufacturing
Incompatible data formats and missing interfaces between ERP systems and production often result in manual corrections and data loss. The EMC Converter module seamlessly links corporate management with the shop floor: master data for production orders, articles, personnel, containers, and tooling is transferred to the shop floor using freely configurable parameters. In return, all actual performance data, output counts, and operational times recorded on the shop floor flow back into the ERP system in real time.
This ensures consistent data integrity across all departments – whether reporting stroke counts and tool life in metal forming, or providing precise material usage and batch tracking feedback in wire processing.
